Okay……here is another article for our skeptical friends.  (and family..:-)  Why?  Well…it’s Halloween, of course!  And nothing gets their ire up HIGHER around Halloween than SERIOUS talk about ghosts, goblins and ethereal entities. I mean…..none of this stuff can possibly be true, right?  It’s all fiction, fantasy and foolishness.  (so they say)  What say you?  Let’s take a look at some of the simple facts behind mediumship that might actually convince you there are some REAL, and genuine abilities out worthy of scientific study, and consideration.

First…..a Statement of the Obvious:

Many psychics are simply entertainers.  Stories of mediums have been around for centuries.  Some are dishonest and do it for the dough.  Others may even mean well, but aren’t really all that skilled or talented.

But there ARE SOME SO unique, powerful and transcendently talented, that even the most hardcore skeptically minded cynic CAN’T explain it away.  These are those that the famous Philosopher, William James once called his “white crow”.  (those who were so skilled in coming up with information from “beyond” the veil, that to explain them away as chance, luck, guessing, fraud or otherwise would be a silly stretch)

In more contemporary culture, famous TV psychic mediums like John Edward, George Anderson and many others have been studied rigorously by science minded skeptics….and in the BEST readings, the skeptical arguments simply DON’T hold up.  Often, the ONLY thing the skeptics can  offer to explain some of the amazing information that comes through is fraud.

(as in – the TV hosts, the audience or the radio call in show people at home are all in on a giant conspiracy together!)  Or they’ll claim “cold reading” is used to “lead” people to give answers that the medium then uses to guess more information.

Does that happen in some of the cases?  Absolutely!  But does that explain the GENUINE information coming through REAL mediums who aren’t “paid to perform” and aren’t asking ANYTHING that doesn’t have a “yes or no” answer, are often doing the work on the telephone and have NO real way of ascertaining ANYTHING about the person they are reading, other than what they claim to get from genuine spirits?

It doesn’t….and there are FAR too many authentic cases of this to discount it as “cheating” or a “good guess” or other insulting intellectual silliness!

Here is what I genuinely believe is the truth:

Until you have a genuine psychic reading for yourself, where information is revealed that BOGGLES your brain, and it comes from a trusted, sincere and authentic sensitive, clairvoyant, medium or intuitive, you simply can’t comprehend how powerful the experience really can be…and how much it truly can change and transform your life, and in a beautiful and beneficial way to boot!
