Honestly? It’s a good idea…and a good start, but even psychic certification is fraught with errors and subjectivity. What do I mean? Lots of really GREAT intuitive’s I know simply have no interest in subjecting themselves to a certification program created by someone else…..especially when there is a profit involved. (those who offer certification often CHARGE for the accreditation) And of course, psychic certification is still pretty subjective. There is very little objective measurement that goes into deciding who is good…and who is not. (the best way STILL is to simply test the psychic yourself!)

Absolutely there is! Just like hiring any other service professional, you’ve got a plethora of powerful ways to tell if they’re worth the investment:

1. Do they have fans? (a good psychic has raving fans and repeat clients who come back over and over again….just like me!)
2. Has the network been around for a while? (I recommend ONLY seeing psychics who work for services with at least a 5 year track record or history)
3. Do they offer a money back guarantee? (if they do…..good news! The ONLY risk you run is NOT trying them out for yourself!)
4. Do they LOOK legitimate? (we’ve all seen tacky web sites that look like they were thrown up in the middle of the night by an amateur. unfortunately…in my experience, how a psychic (or service) PRESENTS themselves to the public is a pretty accurate barometer of how good they’re going to be!)
5. Are they SNOBS? (you WANT a psychic service that’s snobby…and ONLY hires the cream of the crop and the elite level intuitive’s. Let the other networks hire the rejects…as those are the networks you want to avoid like the plague)

The bottom line?

A good psychic IS easy to spot from a mile away. But often, the ONLY real way to know for sure, is to call them yourself! (and if they offer you all of the protections above, the good news is you really have NO risk at all if they’re NOT as good as you hope!)
 

Are past life memories really true?

One of the more common questions we get about reincarnation and past lives is on the topic of past life regression therapy and techniques.  Do they really offer insight into past lives and previous incarnations…..or is it all just a construct of the imagination? 

Honestly?  It really DOES depend who you ask!  Many people I know are devout believers in regression therapy and others believe that ANYTIME you introduce hypnosis into the equation you are starting to deal with fuzzy facts at best.  (simply because people can “remember” things that never happened…..regardless of what they see in that state)

Note…..there is a TON of good evidence that has come out of these style sessions, with prestigious doctors like Dr. Brian Weiss pioneering fascinating work into the nature of past lives and access to those incarnations through regression therapy. 

My advice?  If you are TRULY interested in past lives simply get a past life PSYCHIC reading. 

It’s safe…….it’s NOT so controversial, and it’s pretty comfortable to do over the phone for LESS than 25 bucks.  (if you use the Psychic Junkie’s recommended service that is..:-)

Past life regression is mentioned in the Upanishads of ancient India,[4] but is discussed in greater detail in the Yoga Sutras of Patañjali. Writing during the second century BCE, the Hindu scholar Patañjali discussed the soul being burdened with an accumulation of impressions that were part of the karma from previous lives.[5]

Patañjali called the process of past life regression, prati-prasav (literally “reverse birthing”), and involved addressing current problems through memories of past lives. Prati-prasav is used today as a practice in some types of yoga.[6][7]In the modern era, it was the works of Madame Blavatsky, co-founder of the Theosophical Society, which brought it a new found popularity, especially in the West.

French educator Allan Kardec also delved into past life regression in The Spirits Book and Heaven and Hell. Past life regression therapy has been developed since the 1950s by psychologists, psychiatrists and mediums. The belief gained credibility because some of the advocates possess legitimate credentials, though these credentials were in areas unrelated to religion, psychotherapy or other domains dealing with past lives and mental health.

 Interest in the phenomenon started due to American housewife Virginia Tighe reporting and recounting the alleged memories of a 19th-century Irish woman named Bridey Murphy; later investigation failed to support the existence of such a woman and the memories were attributed to Tighe’s childhood during which she spent time living next to an Irish immigrant.[1]
